Additional information Wenz (1919) considered the genus Suchumica Seninski, 1905 as a subgenus of Viviparus, rendering Suchumica gracilis Seninski, 1905 a junior secondary homonym of Vivipara gracilis Lörenthey, 1894. Wenz therefore introduced the V. seninskii as replacement name.
