Taxonomy "This might well be an extra-British species, and the locality a result of confusion" (Warén, 1980). Only known from the holotype. Peñas & Rolán (1997) list it as a synonym of Turbonilla rufa (Philippi, 1836) but this is unwarranted. [details]
