Taxonomy The types are lost. According to Hubedick (1951), the taxonomic identity of this name is "unidentifiable". Morrison (1968) believed it is a senior synonym of Physa reticulata Gould, 1847. Due to the type loss it is very difficult to judge the true identity of this species. [details]
