From editor or global species database
Taxonomy The type locality is almost certainly erroneus. The species is referable to the streptaxid genus Edentulina Pfeiffer, 1846, but Neubert (2004) listed no species of Edentulina in his review of the Streptaxidae of Socotra. In all probability the material originated in East Africa or the Comoros. For the present it is treated as a synonym of Edentulina ovoidea from the Comoros, but there is no published resource for this synonymy. [details]
