Taxonomy The species possess small adult sizes and differs from typical Aulacofusus by shell shape. Dall noted, that spiral sculpture consisting of peculiar crenulated grooves disposed irregularly on shell surface, “is different from that of any other of the group I have been able to examine” [1919, p. 320].
