Nomenclature Erroneously introduced as "nom. nov." by Wenz (1928), who referred to Vivipara coa Neumayr, 1880, non Paludina coa Tournouer, 1876, although Neumayr did not describe a new species. Wenz probably intended to introduce a new species for misidentified V. coa in Neumayr (1880); see also Willmann (1981: 157). Wenz' name, however, is itself a junior homonym of Paludina phukaensis Pavlov, 1925. [details]
