Classification The classification with Georgia is doubtful, since this genus was established for recent species from the Socotra archipelago (Yemen). Moreover, the name Georgia Bourguignat, 1882 is invalid - it is a junior homonym of Georgia Baird & Girard, 1853 [Reptilia]. Species are currently referred to Socotora Pallary, 1925.
