Taxonomic remark Helix portii L. Pfeiffer, 1861 and Bulimus portii L. Pfeiffer, 1861 are not junior homonyms. They are homonyms only in the genus Cochlostyla. But, Helix portii is now asssigned to the genus Calocochlea and Bulimus portii is now known as Helicostyla portei (L. Pfeiffer, 1861). See Taxonomic Remark under the latter species. [details]

Syntype Helix portii L. Pfeiffer, 1861 and Bulimus portii L. Pfeiffer, 1861 are not junior homonyms. They are homonyms only in the genus Cochlostyla. But, Helix portii is now asssigned to the genus Calocochlea and Bulimus portii is now known as a synonym of Calocochlea polillensis (L. Pfeiffer, 1861). [details]Taxonomic remark Helix portii L.
