Authority The species is described in two articles that were published in the same book (and thus simultaneously), once as Nippononaia (Arctonaia) jianchangensis [in X.-H. Yu (1987)] and once as Nippononaia jianchangensis [in X.-H. Yu et al. (1987). Yu (1987) referred the authorship to a manuscript name ["Yu, Dong et Yao, (MS)"], probably meaning the other article, but still fully described and illustrated the species. [details]Synonymy Listed as synonym of Nippononaia yanjiensis Z.-W. Gu, 1976 by Sha (2007) and as synonym of Nippononaia (Eonippononaia) sinensis Nie, 1965 by Jiang, Sha & Cai (2007) - needs to be revised. [details]
