Status Taxon not discussed in the literature of the 20th and 21st century. Mentioned in a list by Flügel (1975), with the note that is has a wider distribution as previously assumed. The species has been classified either in Cyclas [= Sphaerium] or Cyrena [= Corbicula], which belong to different families. As Cyrena it would be a secondary homonym of Cyrena gregaria Mayer & Gümbel, 1861. Status and classification uncertain. [details]
