Identification The name Syntomodrillia espyra has been used (Rios 1985, 1994, 2009) for Recent specimens from Brazil later recognized by Fallon (2016) to represent Cerodrillia brasiliensis or Lissodrillia cabofrioensis. There is no confirmed record of Splendrillia / Syntomodrillia espyra in the Recent fauna. [details]
