The first reference to Goldfuss, is that of Dechen (1832:534, nomen nudum), renamed Turritella absoluta by Goldfuss (1844:p. 103, n. 2, pl. 195, fig. 11).
As such, the name as introduced by Orbigny is to be considered conspecific with the species named Turritella absoluta by Goldfuss, 1844, and as such added to its synonymy. [details]
The first reference to Goldfuss, is that of Dechen (1832:534, nomen nudum), renamed Turritella absoluta by Goldfuss (1844:p. 103, n. 2, pl. 195, fig. 11).
