Status Not found in the 20th and 21st century literature, except for a species list in Maslennikov (1935), who considered the name a unidentifiable (?) species of Palaeomutela ("Palaeomutela sp. ind."), and Branson's (1948) "Bibliographic Index of Permian Invertebrates", who also classified the species in Palaeomutela. However, in that combination it is a homonym of the simultaneously published Palaeomutela indeterminata (Amalitzky, 1892) [based on Najadites indeterminata Amalitzky, 1892; see Silantiev & Carter 2015].
