Status The taxon was referred to Najadites by Amalitzky (1892) and Palaeanodonta by Schmidt (1905). Urazaeva et al. (2015) argued that Amalitzky's record is probably a synonym of Verneuilunio verneuili (Amalitzky, 1892), but they did not refer to Schmidt's work or gave the status of Keyserling's taxon.
