Neotype (from page 60 of Pojeta & Sohl: "The holotype by monotypy can no longer be located. However, because there is no difficulty in identifying the species, there is stability in nomenclature, and a neotype designation is not essential for solving a complex zoological problem, a neotype is not designated for Ascaulocardium armatum. This decision is in accord with Article 75 of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature, Third Edition (1985, p. 15)" [details]
