Authority This has been reported as a self-standing taxon Retusa truncatula form pellucida (G.O. Sars, 1878) (e.g. Nordsieck, 1972) or Retusa pellucida (G.O. Sars, 1878) (e.g. Sabelli et al., 1991), but Sars (1878: 285, pl. 17 fig. 18) explicitly refers to Volvaria pellucida Brown, used as a name for a variety. [details]
