Validity The name moquiana was intended for a new species in the manuscript of Anistratenko & Gozhik (1995), but prior to publication the species was found to be synonymous with Melanopsis sobrievskii Rosen, 1914 (which was accordingly transferred to Turricaspia (Laevicaspia)). The name moquiana was printed unintentionally in the final publication (V. Anistratenko, pers. commun. 03/2020). [details]
