Hence, there is no homonymy and Pomatias turonicum is a junior objective synonym of Pomatias turgidulus (F. Sandberger, 1872). [details]Validity Introduced as replacement name for Cyclostomus turgidulus Sandberger, 1872, "non Rouis", but latter name is not available. It was mentioned by Sandberger as "Cyclostoma turgidulum Rouis in litt. et specim. 1868" (p. 235) in synonymy of Megalomastoma turgidulum Sandberger, 1871 (currently accepted as Ventriculus turgidulus). Pomatias turonicus Wenz is thus a junior objective synonym of Pomatias turgidulus (Sandberger, 1872). [details]
