Status De Serres (1829:106) briefly - and barely valid - describes the species as treillisée, which could be interpreted as "trellis", and refer to the sculpture obtained when axial cords cross spiral sculpture. As Turritellidae lack axial cords by definition, it is here doubted that the shell De Serres was describing belons to Turritellidae. As no further information on this nominal taxon is available at present, its status is here as considered taxon inquirendum untill further information becomes available. [details]
