Original Combination Lörenthey (1906) used two different original combinations, one with Monodacna (which seems to be the preferred one, which he used in the text and the footnote), the other with Limnocardium (Pontalmyra) (which he placed in quotes and seem to refer to an older unpublished identification of his. See footnote on p. 76-77 for a detailed taxonomic history of the speices.[details]
