Status Substitute name for "Gari Cossmann non Schumacher", in fact a misapplication by Cossmann (1886, Annales de la Société Royale Malacologique de Belgique, 21: 91) of Gari Schumacher, 1817. Placed on the Official List by Opinion 910 (1970, Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature, 27(1): 16 [where Psammobia filosa Conrad, 1833 is incorrectly declared type species by M!]). [details]
