Description Flattened shell, up to 3cm, with fine, radiating, pale ridges on a darker background. Circular outline with a single projecting lobe under which the siphon extends. Raised central area internally marked with dark blotches, visible muscle scar interrupted by a characteristic siphonal grove. Habitat: eulittoral rock surface. Distribution: W. Indian Ocean to the A Gulf. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
