Status The work by Chernyshev (1956) seems to be a re-publication of parts of an older work (Chernyshev 1937). It appeared after Chernyshev had died in 1950 and includes two "new" species that that he had introduced already in that earlier work. This concerns Unio uralensis and Unio korkinensis, which was renamed Unio riphaeicus in the 1956 work, yet without explanation. [details]
