Description Large, thick shell, up to 10 cm, with large body whorl, very expanded aperture and a short, blunt spire. Surface sculptured with spiralled, widely beaded cords with plain spiral cords between. Columella almost straight. Colour chocolate-brown with white spaces between beads on the beaded cords; aperture and columella white. Habitat: shallow rocky areas. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. (Richmond, 1997). [details]
