Taxonomic remark The name splendida in Reeve, 1858 was based on Volsella splendida Dunker, 1857, but this is a misapplication. This misapplication was used by Lamprell & Healey, 1998 and Huber, 2010. Reeve's figured species is apparently without a valid name. [details]
