Nomenclature "Brephulus Westerlund, 1902" is listed in Nomenclator Zoologicus and by Lindholm, 1925, Archiv für Molluskenkunde, 57(1): 28 as a different name. However, Westerlund, 1903 (sic), Rada Jugoslavenske Akademije Znanosti i Umjetnosti, 151: 154, merely misapplied Brephulus and explicitly attributed the name to Beck, 1837. Nomenclature "Brephulus Westerlund, 1902" is listed in Nomenclator Zoologicus and by Lindholm, 1925, Archiv für Molluskenkunde, 57(1): 28 as a different name. However, Westerlund, 1903 (sic), Rada Jugoslavenske Akademije Znanosti i Umjetnosti, 151: 154, merely misapplied Brephulus and explicitly attributed the name to Beck, 1837.
