Homonymy Replacement name for Cardium laeviusculum Capellini, 1879, non Adacna laeviuscula (Eichwald, 1829), both of which Pantenelli (1886) considered to belong in Adachna [sic]. Apparently unaware of the new name, Gillet (1969) used the old name and combined the species as Limnocardium laeviusculum. Pantanelli's replacement name has not been in use. Thus, according to ICZN Art. 59.3, the junior secondary homonym is not to be rejected. [details]
