Note Originally described from several localities...
Type locality Originally described from several localities in the Mainz Basin (Hackenheim, Petersberg, Sommerberg, Zeilstück near Weinheim). Kadolsky (2022) designated a lectotype, which supposedly derives from the Sulzheim Formation at Sommerberg near Alzey, but he argued that the material does not match the rest of the population found at that locality and concluded that the material might derive from Hackenheim instead. [details]
