From editor or global species database
Status Nevesskaja (2007) listed the parent species as tentative synonym of Didacna obliquetrigona Pravoslavlev, 1939. She included the illustrations of the variety bogatschevi in the synonymy but did not explicitly listed the names, probably following Svitoch (1967), who also gave the name of the variety. Also, the name is a primary homonym of the simultaneously established name Didacna bogatschevi Pravoslavlev, 1939. According to ICZN Art. 24.1., the name of higher rank automatically takes precedence. [details]
